Logging in to WRJFD email on a mail client using the IMAP protocol
This guide is an outline of settings that your mail client may ask of you when setting up an IMAP account. Due to the multitude of possible mail apps you could be using, this is not a specific step-by-step guide.
***Before you set up an IMAP client, you MUST sign in to your @polandfire.org email account on a computer, so that you can set the password
***Your IMAP client of choice must support Oauth 2.0. This is a Microsoft requirement since they deprecated “basic authentication” in 2022
Basic settings:
IMAP username: your full @polandfire.org email address
Password: The password that you set on your account
Server settings:
Incoming server: outlook.office365.com
Incoming server port: 993
Incoming server security type: SSL/TLS
Outgoing server: smtp.office365.com
Security Type: TLS
Outgoing server port: 587
